What We Do & Don't Have

We have bigger houses but smaller families
We have more degrees but less sense
More knowledge but less judgements
More experts but more problems
More medicines, but less healthiness
We've been all the way to the moon and back yet we have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we have less communication
We have become long on quantity but short on quality
These are times of fast foods, but slow digestion
Tall man, but short character
Steep profits, but shallow relationships
It is a time when there is much in the window but nothing in the room

Sharon this is wonderful! I've missed your wisdom, even if it is originally someone else's ;0)

Agreed.

Speaking of medicine, I have been battling high blood pressure for two years and the medicine they were giving me was draining me of energy and making me feel worse than the high blood pressure. I didn't want to do anything but lay around, had to take a nap every day and my lungs were always congested. So, I stopped taking it and found Apple Cider Vinegar to try.

2 table spoons and 8 ounces of water per day had my blood pressure normal in two days, all of my aches and pains gone, my lungs cleared up, and my energy returned to me.

It's been a week and I went on a brisk 10 mile hike today and have a tee time in the morning for the first time in months. I plan to walk and carry my bag for the 18 holes.

@ Aromatic. Thank you. I did :)

@ Frugal Trenches. LOL. I suppose there's some wisdom in recognising wisdom :)

@ Wombat. They are indeed :)

@ Kat. There are few as wise, I'm sure.

@ Websmith. I've heard cider vinegar can be used for a number of ailments. I'm glad you're feeling hunky dory now :)
